The Riverside Middle School Media Center is located in the center of the school to make the school resources as accessible as possible for all students. The RMS Media Center resources support the philosophy, goals, and instructional programs of Riverside Middle School and the Columbia County Schools.

The Media Center opens each morning at 7:10 for students with Morning Media Center Passes, which are available from the teacher on duty outside the school office or from the Media Center on the preceding day. The Media Center is also open after school until 3:00 every afternoon. In addition to coming to the Media Center with their classes, students are also encouraged to visit the Media Center during the day on passes completed by their classroom teachers.

Students may check out two books at one time, but may not check out additional books if they have a book that is overdue or if they owe a fine (5¢ per school day). ID cards are required to check out books and to use the computers in the Media Center at all times. Replacement ID cards are available for $5.00.

Students may request photocopying in the Production Room and printing from a computer for @10 ¢ page.

The School Store , also located in the Media Center , provides a wide assortment of pens, pencils, paper, band supplies, and art supplies. The School Store is open daily from 7:25 until 8:00 each morning and from 2:00 until 3:00 every afternoon. Students need a Media Center pass to shop during school hours. See the RMS School Store List.
