Power Outage at Columbia Middle School

This news release is to notify parents who have students attending Columbia Middle School that the school is experiencing a temporary power outage due to a downed power line. Georgia Power is on site completing the necessary repairs. It is estimated that the power repairs may take anywhere from 2-4 hours. Parents can be assured that the school has back up power for lights in classrooms and halls, and students will be served sack lunches in the event power has not been restored.
