New Address for Columbia County Board of Education

Temporary phone number for moving day

COLUMBIA COUNTY, GA – This news release is to inform the general public that the Columbia County Board of Education main central office phone number (706-541-0650) and the Grovetown Office Complex phone numbers (706-868-3699 and 706-855-2503) will be temporary disconnected during the office relocation to Evans on May 11-12. A temporary phone number (706-855-3840) will be activated for moving day with a receptionist to route phone calls and/or take messages on May 11-12 during the hours of 7:30am-4:30pm. The offices affected in the relocation are the main administration office including the Superintendent’s Office, Student Records, Zoning, Community Relations, Business Operations, Human Resources, Student Support, Student Learning. The new address for the Columbia County Board of Education will be 4781 Hereford Farm Road, Evans, Georgia 30809.

Parents and the general public are encouraged to contact their home school with any questions before contacting the central office since the existing central office phone number (706-541-0650) will be out of service starting on May 11-12 but should be back in service by Monday, May 15. Even though the main switchboard number will remain the same after the move, many individual departments will have a new extension that will be posted on our website at www.ccboe.net.
