Open House Date Change for Evans Middle School Only

Additional time requested by contractor for clean-up

This news release is to notify parents who have students attending Evans Middle School that Open House will be moved to August 3 from 6:00-8:00pm. Even though the building is basically ready for students, there are a few finishing details like construction clean up and floor preparation that need additional time. “We’ve given our contractor two extra days for cleanup and preparation of the main halls and outside the facility. Even though the gymnasium may not be readily accessible, parents and students can be assured that our classrooms are ready for students on August 3,” said Mr. Charles Nagle, Associate Superintendent of Student Support.

Registration for students new to Columbia County living in the Evans Middle School zone will be held on July 31 from 10:00a.m. – 3:00 p.m. Any questions can be directed to the school front office at 706-863-2275.
