CONTINUED EMPLOYMENT

 

Continued employment is based on satisfactory job performance. The annual evaluation process will be conducted during the months of August through April in accordance with the guidelines and procedures as established by the Columbia County Board of Education. Based on the results of the annual job performance evaluation, the principal or department head will recommend personnel action to end employment whenever job performance is no longer acceptable.

 

Secretarial/Clerical:       The principal or supervisor will annually evaluate the performance of all secretarial/clerical employees under his or her supervision.

 

Paraprofessionals:         The principal will annually evaluate the performance of all paraprofessionals under his or her supervision.

 

Other Support Personnel:          The principal will annual evaluate the performance of all school safety officers under his or her supervision.

 

Technology Personnel:  The Director of Technology will annually evaluate all technology personnel under his or her supervision.

 

Buildings and Grounds Personnel:          The Director of Buildings and Grounds will annually evaluate the performance of all department and maintenance staff members.

 

Bus Drivers and Transportation Department:     The Director of Transportation will annually evaluate the performance of all bus drivers, bus assistants and aides, shop personnel, student control attendants, and all transportation personnel.

 

School Nutrition Employees:                 The principal of the school will annually evaluate the performance of the school nutrition manager and school nutrition workers.

 

Custodians:       The principal of the school will annually evaluate the performance of all custodians under his or her supervision.
