Coach Watson is a graduate of Schley County High School in Ellaville, Ga. He also graduated from the University of Georgia with a major in Social Science Education.

Coach Watson is married to the former Jessica Cook of Desoto, GA. Jessica is a graduate of The University of Georgia and is currently attending Dental school at the Medical College of Georgia. Coach Watson enjoys hunting and fishing as well as playing golf.
