| John
Ellis is the Sports Medicine Coordinator at
Doctors
Hospital
where he has been practicing athletic training for six years.
This is his first year as the athletic trainer at
Evans
High School
.

is from
Augusta
and graduated from Westside in 1995.
From there he received a Bachelor’s degree in Sports
Medicine at
Georgia
College
and
State
University
,
Milledgeville
,
Georgia
and earned a Master’s degree in Sports Health Science from
Armstrong
Atlantic
State
University
,
Savannah
,
Georgia
. John also
participated in an internship program with the Atlanta Braves in
the summer of 1999.

is married to the former Cheryl Bambrick of Augusta who he shares
a 10 month old daughter, Carter.
In his spare time he enjoys spending time with his new
family, playing golf, and pulling for Bobby Bowden’s Seminoles.
