wins on road to close out season

JESUP, Ga. -
Evans closed out its 2006 season with a victory Friday night,
thanks to Kevin Millward and Jonathan Nicely.
Millward,
the Knights quarterback, hit Nicely on a 50-yard touchdown pass
in the fourth quarter that proved to be the game-winner in a
21-14 victory over
Wayne
County
.
The
touchdown gave Evans a 21-7 lead at the time.
Wayne
County
scored a touchdown later in the quarter, but it came with one
second left on the clock.
Millward hit
12 of 21 passes for 163 yards. Nicely caught three of them for
72 yards and Trey Henderson had four catches for 31 yards.
Evans
finishes at 4-6 overall, 3-6 in Region 3-AAAA.
