Business Department - Transfer/Surplus of Assets

Any transfer of assets/equipment between schools and/or departments must be recorded on the Inventory Transfer/Surplus Form.

Responsibilities:

School or Department - The party initiating the transfer must complete the following:

Complete Inventory Transfer/Surplus Form. Include description, serial #, tag #, reason for transfer/surplus, and funding source (local, system, or grant funds).
Obtain approval and signatures of the initiating school/department asset clerk and principal/department head.

Schedule the transfer of asset (pickup and delivery).

Obtain approval and signatures of the receiving school/department asset clerk and principal/department head.

Forward yellow copy of Inventory Transfer/Surplus Form to Business Department-Attention: Fixed Asset Accountant. tfulghum@ccboe.net
