Internet Safety Class: On February 4th at
7:00 p.m. there will be a class on Internet Safety. If you are
responsible for the welfare of children that use the internet then it is
recommended that you attend this meeting. It is designed to offer
you insights on how to safeguard your children in usage of the internet.
Please read the
attached flyer and RSVP for this
meeting. It will be held at Riverside Elementary School Cafeteria.
Junior/Senior Prom Tickets:
Tickets are on sale now!!!
Juniors may buy two tickets and Seniors may purchase one ticket for their guest.
Right now the tickets are $30 but if you wait the
price will go up $5 each month closer to the Prom date. To
purchase tickets, see Ms. Pickett room 512 or Ms. Perez in room 604,
before or after school.
Permanent Bus
Changes: Effective January
14th, the following bus changes will be made and will remain in effect
for the remainder of the year.
Bus 2807 Mr. Waites' students will
arrive home 8 minutes earlier in the afternoon and will be picked up 8
minutes later in the morning.
Bus 2807 Students living in Mill
Branch who rode bus 2807 will now ride Bus
980 Ms. Flanagan, the pick up time will be approximately 7:02 am and the
drop off will approximately 2:50 pm.
Bus 2807 Students living in Indian
Springs who rode bus 2807 will now ride Bus
2215 Ms. Cripps, the pick up time will be approximately 7:15 am and the
drop off time will be approximately 2:50 pm.
Bus 2215 Ms. Cripps' students, will be picked up approximately 7
minutes earlier in the morning and dropped off 7 minutes later in the
afternoons.
Bus 980 Ms Flanagan's students, will be picked up 8 minutes earlier in
the morning and dropped off 8 minutes later in the afternoons.

Friday
night, January 22nd against Richmond Academy. The games will
start at 4:00 p.m. If you can, please come show your support for
the Warriors.

Advanced Driving Course:
A behind the wheel program for teens, parents and
new drivers: This is an 8 hour course designed and taught by police
officers. This course is designed for teens and new drivers. For

Senior Parents Financial Aid Night:
February 4th in the Grovetown High School
Auditorium at 6:00 p.m. Topics of discussion will include
Financial Aid, FAFSA Application, Scholarships, Grants, and a period for
questions and answers.

Conference:
There will be a Love and Logic
Parent Conference held each Tuesday Mar. 17th - May 5th from 6:30 - 8:30
p.m. at Riverside Elementary School. The cost is $20.00 for
one parent and $35.00 for a couple. Please complete the attached
application
if you are interested in attending.
The conference provides parenting tips for all ages of children and has
received great reviews.
