I am excited about having the privilege of serving as your principal for the inaugural year of Grovetown High School.

Students at Grovetown High School will be part of a unique learning environment with challenging courses, vocational pathways, and outstanding activities and programs. The positive, professional staff of GTHS will focus on providing many opportunities for every student to succeed.

Our academic vision is to nurture the diverse needs of all students. The integrated curriculum offered will be extensive, including a full complement of challenging courses at the Advanced Placement and Gifted level. A variety of modern career technical courses and pathways will be available for career oriented students. GTHS will also utilize on-line learning opportunities offered through Georgia Virtual School.

Students will be encouraged to participate in a variety of clubs, student activities, and extracurricular programs. Our faculty will place an emphasis on communication to develop the strong bond that must exist among the students, parents, teachers, and community members. I look forward to building our school’s tradition of excellence in a facility that is second to none. Together, we can achieve the shared goal for each student to reach his or her potential in a setting that is fun, respectful, motivating, and challenging.

WELCOME to Warrior Country! As an Assistant Principal at Grovetown High School (GTHS) I would like to welcome every student, parent, and community member to the newest high school in Columbia County. My quest is to be a part of a staff that is here to help develop a school environment that will promote high academic standards for our students and a love of learning for all. I am proud and privileged to be a member of the next number 1 high school in Columbia County.

I have had the privilege of serving as a science teacher for the students in the Harlem and Grovetown areas for the past ten years, and I am honored to be chosen to serve as an assistant principal at Grovetown High School. I believe in servant leadership, and I am committed to the success of our students in the classroom and on the fields as I work collaboratively with the Warrior Team: students, parents, teachers, Board of Education, and the entire Grovetown community.
